News:
Gordon Simms’ prize-winning collection Uphill to the Sea (Biscuit Publishing) to be launched at the Literary and Philosophical Society, Newcastle-upon-Tyne, March 22nd, 7.00 pm.
Gordon will be reading from Uphill to the Sea at the Harris Museum, Preston, 26th March, 6.00 pm.
Uphill to the Sea will be launched in France, venue & date t.b.a.
Gordon’s poem “In Harness” was Highly Commended in the recent Hungry Hill competition.
Jocelyn Simms will be leading poetry workshops based on poems by Helen Dunmore and Katherine Gallagher. Dates & venues in France t.b.a
Bilingual Litfest, St Clementin, Deux-Sèvres, France, 31st Aug. - 2nd Sept.

Correspondences - a highly sensory course from Jocelyn and Gordon Simms revolving around art, artefacts, music and science with suggestions for writing poetry from unusual angles; with encouraging and thoughtful feedback.
I am now more able to ‘let go’ of my poems, with success in the first competition I entered (Wendy Wright) . . . Highly commended in a competition; publication in French Literary Review.
