International Writers’ Block

Jocelyn and Gordon founded  IWB in 1999.  International Writers' Block is a community  where writers can gain support and find ideas for creative writing. Members are asked to complete modules by a deadline. For some of the assignments they are asked to read certain contemporary texts and undertake a little research into art and music as well as literature.

Publication is not the main aim, yet each member has to date found publication and produced poetry,

short stories, articles, novels, plays, greetings cards, journals, chap books and memoirs.

Extracts of writing which appear on this site: www.poetryproseandplays.co.uk are by members of IWB. Copyright remains with the author. The material is freely available but please acknowledge the source if you quote from or include any of it in a classroom situation.

Fees for IWB are £80 per annum or if payment is in euros, 118€. The fees include eight modules (or writers' assignments) with the opportunity to share work within the group and to receive feedback and suggestions for further development from Gordon and Jocelyn. Contact us for further information.

"Feedback is thorough, constructive, always caring and definitely tenacious. IWB is a community in which to flourish, share ideas, give as well as receive advice."   Dr. J.F.  Germany.
