No correspondence will be entered into concerning any aspect of the judging process. Winners will be notified on or before 30 April  2010, by telephone or email.

The prize-winning vignette will be published on this website and in the first Segora anthology.

Number of entries

SEGORA  Short Story Competition  

Entries may be on any theme, not previously published or prize-winners, and must be written in English, double spaced in 12 point. No submissions will be returned. £5 per entry.

Word count: 1500 to 3000

First prize: £100 or equivalent in euros.

Additional prizes may be awarded at the discretion of the competition organiser. This year’s judge is Alan McMunnigall.

The deadline for entries is: May 29, 2010

Winners will be notified on or before  August  7, 2010

The winning entry will be published on www.poetryproseandplays.co.uk and in the next Segora Anthology.
