Who Are We?

 

Gordon Simms was formerly head of Performing Arts at Blackburn College, UK. His collected poetry Uphill to the Sea will be published later this year. He has won 15 poetry competitions and been successful in over 70 including the Arvon in 1998.  As well as poetry Gordon has written plays, one of which won Impressions play-writing competition in 2001. He is completing a collection of short stories and has written a novel.

Jocelyn Simms is a counselor, colour therapist and is interested in writing as therapy. She is the author of Colour Matters. She writes poetry, short stories, plays and with Gordon modules for the International Writers’ Block (IWB) which they co-founded in 1999 and which continues to this day.
