Location:
The mill is situated on the river Argenton in the Anjou wine-growing region. Close by are the Muscadet vineyards (between Cholet & Nantes). The roads are dotted with wayside chapels and shrines, as this was one of the pilgrim routes to Compostella. One of our buildings is a replica of a chapel which belonged to the mill. There are delightful circular walks in gentle, well-wooded countryside, with a wide range of bird and wildlife. An ideal spot for those seeking tranquillity.  

Accomodation

Ground Floor:
Stone fireplace with a wood-burning stove. Well-equipped kitchen area includes dishwasher, washing machine, fridge-freezer, gas cooker, micro-wave. TV/video/music.

Cloakroom, WC. Telephone point.

First Floor:
Landing/study area. Bedroom with double bed. Feature fireplace. Shower room: shower, WC, 2 wash-hand basins. Heated towel rail.

Second Floor: 
Spacious attic bedroom has double and single bed. Ample shelving, hanging rails. Wash-hand basin. Hair-dryer, iron, etc.

Outside:
Courtyard, garden areas with furniture, recliners, BBQ. Poplar wood. Rowing boat, bicycles, table-tennis, fishing (rod & line supplied), bird-watching. Garage. Garden/games room. Wood store.
